A few years ago the design world appropriated hell out of this Oaxacan folk tradition and started spewing out poorly-made Otomi knockoffs left and right. No thank you. These stunning textiles are made by the Ñuhu (also called Hñähñu) indigenous peoples in the central Mexican altiplano region.
